Northeast Ohio school districts are preparing for potential closures as the region braces for dangerous cold temperatures and wind chills dropping as low as -24 degrees this week.

The National Weather Service has issued a Cold Weather Advisory from 1:00 a.m. Monday through 10:00 a.m. Wednesday for the entire area. While schools are closed Monday for Martin Luther King Jr. Day, superintendents are closely monitoring conditions for Tuesday and Wednesday.
