Another strong storm system is set to move into central Ohio on Wednesday, bringing the potential for damaging winds, hail, flooding and isolated tornadoes.

Latest weather forecast for central Ohio
All of us are under a risk for severe weather tonight as a potent low pressure system moves through the area. The increased threat of strong storms around midnight on Thursday will continue into early Thursday, which is why we've issued 10TV Weather Impact Alert Days.

Biggest concerns will be for damaging winds, possible tornadoes, and flooding, so have ways to get warnings to wake you up if you need to take action. We could also see large hail (severe begins at 1" in diameter).

The 10 Weather Impact Alert will continue into Thursday when more gusty storms could be possible, along with the chance for some localized flooding.

With the heavy rain that much of the area received Sunday and the additional rain Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, we'll be monitoring the potential flooding through the end of the week and through the weekend, with more rain on the way.

Showers will generally taper off as the weekend ends, with a shot of colder air moving in to start next week.
