In this video I discuss how to create a favicon for your website. A favicon is the little icon that appears in the top left of the website tab when you have it open.

The easiest website that I have come across that generates favicons for you is called "favicon.io". It’s a great favicon code generator.

You have the option to upload your logo if you want to do it that way, generate a text icon, and you can even make an emoji for your favicon if you would like.

Once your done making it, download the files and look for the one that is named "favicon.ico." After that, open up your text editor and add the link tag to your html file in the head area and change the relationship from "stylesheet" to "icon" and then find the correct path to the favicion.ico file and save your work.

Reload the browser and you should see the favicon for your website.

Adding favicons to html or to your website should be easy!
